Workflow-first

Built Around the Way Schools Work

School work does not happen in modules. It happens in sequences — a request becomes a decision, a decision becomes a record, a record becomes a report. Nexus Kamer follows those sequences from beginning to end.

Roles

Made for Every Role in Your School

Each role sees the part of the school it is responsible for — and only that part.

Only the students linked to you

Guardians and sponsors follow fees, attendance and reports for the students explicitly linked to their account — and nobody else.

  • Invoices, payments and receipts
  • Attendance and released report cards
  • Permission and leave requests

Linked students only. A guardian account cannot reach any other student’s record.

Why schools choose Nexus Kamer

Built around the realities of running a school here — connectivity, language, and the way school decisions actually get made.

Explore the platform →
  • Offline-FirstEssential day-to-day work continues through an interruption, then syncs.
  • Secure & PrivateRole-based and relationship-based access over every school record.
  • English & FrançaisBoth languages are part of the architecture, not a late translation.
  • ConfigurableCalendar, grading, fees and rules follow your school, not the software.
  • ConnectedOne student record shared across every workflow on the platform.
  • Any DeviceOne responsive web application on desktop, tablet and phone.
Connectivity

Built for Schools. Designed for Real-World Connectivity.

Connectivity in many schools is intermittent or expensive. Nexus Kamer is designed so that essential day-to-day work — such as marking attendance — can continue during an interruption and synchronise once the connection returns.

Offline support is scoped deliberately: not every feature works without a connection, and the interface always states the current sync status rather than hiding it.

  • Offline — work continues locally and is queued.
  • Syncing — queued records are sent when the connection returns.
  • Synced — the school's record is up to date and confirmed.

Our mission

Digitizing Lewa

Bringing school administration out of ledgers and loose paper and into one connected digital environment — where the school, its teachers, its parents and its students all work from the same record.

  1. 01

    The physical school

Registers, files and receipts held in separate places.

  2. 02

    The connected school

One record per student, shared across every workflow.

  3. 03

    The digital community

Leadership, teachers, parents and students in one place.

Localization

Designed for Cameroon. Ready for Africa.

English and Français are part of the product architecture, not a translation added at the end. Each user works in the language they choose, on the same school record.

One record, two languages

Report card templates, fee documents and notifications follow the language of the person reading them, while the underlying data stays single-sourced.

Responsive web application

Your school platform, wherever you work

Nexus Kamer is a web application. The same platform adapts to the office desktop, a tablet in the staff room and a parent's phone — no separate app to install.

Security & privacy

Secure by Design

School records are sensitive. Access in Nexus Kamer is decided by role and by relationship, and important actions leave a trace.

  • Role-Based Access Control

Every account acts within a defined role, with permissions the school administrator controls.

  • Relationship-Based Access

Guardians reach only the students linked to them; students reach only their own record.

  • Secure Authentication

Accounts are individual and verifiable, with session handling appropriate to shared school devices.

  • Privacy Protection

Personal contact details stay inside the platform; communication does not expose private numbers.

  • Auditability

Approvals, payments and record changes are traceable to an account and a moment in time.

  • Protected School Records

Academic, financial and medical-restriction records are separated and access-controlled.

Who can reach what

Access is not a single switch. Each account has a role, and within that role a boundary set by its relationships.

  • School administrator

The whole school, within the permissions leadership grants.

    School-wide
  • Teacher

Assigned classes and subjects — not the whole student body.

    Assigned classes
  • Parent / sponsor

  • Student

    Own record
Financial operations

School finance, from invoice to audit trail

Nexus Kamer is not a bank and does not hold school funds. The platform organises the school's financial operations and payment orchestration; settlement goes to the school's own designated bank or payment account.

  1. 01

    Invoices

Issued from the school's own fee structure.

  2. 02

    Payments

Recorded against the invoice and the student.

  3. 03

    Verification

Confirmed by the bursar before it counts as settled.

  4. 04

    Reconciliation

Matched against the school's account activity.

  5. 05

    Receipts

Released to the paying parent or sponsor.

  6. 06

    Audit trail

Every step attributable and reviewable later.

Your School. Your Rules.

Schools differ in calendar, grading, pass marks and promotion. Nexus Kamer is configured to match how your school already operates, instead of asking the school to change its operations for the software.

Rewards

Recognition the school defines
